Find product within a stock takeWhen entering count figures you can now enter a product number to jump to a part within the stock take. Normally you go through the products sequentially, but sometimes you want to enter a count out-of-order. Previously you had to scroll through the list and click on the product; now you can simply enter the part number directly.
Product Enquiry - DeleteIf you've got level 9 security, you can now delete a part from the Product Enquiry screen. The delete button shows up at the bottom of the screen. Handy for removing obsolete parts.
Hide CostsIf a user's "Hide Costs" option is set to Yes, the Sales History option (under Customer Enquiry - More Options) is now greyed-out. The reason for this is the Sales History figures include gross profit, which derives from costs.
Disabled CustomersWe've made a change to Release Backordered Goods and Indent Order Generation - now when you display orders by customer, any disabled customers in the selection list are shown in red. Also for Product Enquiry - if you click on Sales Orders, any disabled customers are shown in red.
Customer Order Status reportWe've added a new option on the Customer order status report, "Print customer number" Yes/No. Yes prints the customer number on every line of the report.
Print Customer ReturnsThere's a new feature to print Customer Return forms in bulk. You can select all returns with a specific Return Date, or all returns for a specific customer. This is useful if you intend to send out the return forms along with the dispatched goods. If you're not familiar with Customer Returns within Fastbase see last month's newsletter for a short summary, or give me a call.
Delete Customer ReturnsYou can now delete Customer Returns in bulk also. Returns may be selected by expiry date (the default) or by return date, or customer. The returns are permanently deleted. By default only active returns are deleted; returns that have been already approved are not deleted. Let us know if you're interested in this feature.
