Dispatch Goods

FastBase has a separate dispatch function that can be used when goods are dispatched by the storeperson.

This function is optional and only needs to be used when there is a variance with the quantity of items being dispatched and the qty printed on the packing slip - or - if the delivery method or freight charge varies from the default.

Select Transactions - Order Entry - Dispatch Packing Slips.

Enter the packing slip number (as prompted).

When the packing slip details are displayed select each line to maintain the quantity dispatched.

Confirm Dispatch Quantities

When the quantity dispatched is different than the quantity recorded on the packing slip the system will automatically place the quantity shortfall on INDENT. If the order line is going to be supplied some other way then it is up to the user to maintain the customer order and manually alter/select the supply details.

Continue

When finished click on the "Continue" button, you will then be prompted to enter the delivery method and freight charge. These details will be recorded on the packing slip and used when it comes to invoice the order.
