Displaying Product Photos In FastBase

Your FastBase system can be set up to display photos of your products. Once your system has been configured, product photos can be viewed by going into Product Enquiry and clicking on the Photo tab.

Photos:
Format - All photos need to be in "jpeg" (jpg) format.
Size - It is recommended that the size of each photo be no more than 25KB, however FastBase will attempt to display all photos regardless of size.
Name - Photos need to be named with the corresponding part number in FastBase. Eg, If your product number is "LKB009", the photo for this product needs to be named "LKB009.jpg".

Photos - Directory Location:
The photos of all your products need to stored in "c:\fbase\photos" on your server.
This is the default and can be modified to suit.

All computers that access FastBase besides the server will already have a drive mapped to the FBASE folder on the server, eg: X:\.
This means the photos will appear in the X:\PHOTOS folder.
The setup.dat file will need to reflect this as follows:

set setup(image_directory) "../photos"
