Electronic Invoicing (Taxis)

FastBase can be configured to automatically send electronic invoices to customers via email.

Setup

Maintain each account which requires electronic invoicing, under 'Taxi Details' set the electronic invoicing flag to 'Yes' and enter the recipients email address.

It is recommended that you enter your own email address for initial testing purposes and that you inform the customer you will be sending these files automatically when you enter their email address.

Invoicing

When FastBase prints an invoice for any customer that has electronic invoicing enabled an electronic invoice is created automatically and emailed to the client automatically.
A record of this is made in the system log file.

Note: Tcl 8.6.x is probably required for this to function as this email service requires the tcllib package to be installed.
