Go to the Transactions menu and select Customers/Invoicing - Invoice.

Find and open the batch that your invoice is in (the batch will usually be dated the same as the invoice date). If you can’t find the batch the invoice is in see How do I find out what batch my (Account, Customer, Stock, Supplier) transaction is in? for details on finding a transaction/batch number.

Select the required invoice – the invoice lines will be displayed. Change the invoice lines as required. Click the Save button, the consignment details screen will now be displayed. Make any required changes.

Depending on the way your system has been configured you may be able to reprint the invoice from the consignment screen. Note that if the invoice is re-printed from this screen the invoice will not be printed as a copy. If the option to print the invoice is not available from this screen or you require a copy invoice see How do I reprint an invoice/credit note? for details on re-printing the invoice.

Click the Save button to save your changes.

See also How do I change the date on a customer invoice after it has been generated?.

Note that low security users will only be able to change the customer’s order number and shipping details.

Depending on your system configuration low security users may not be able maintain cash sales invoices.

Invoices that have been either paid, credited or updated to the general ledger may not be changed. Invoices in a closed batch cannot be maintained by low security users.
